These unique tea lanterns are sculpted from a baking paper, heat resistant to greater than 200°C. It is not fire proof. We supply a glass for use with tea light (only a tea light). The glass protects from the flame and the paper cannot be damaged from the heat. The paper must be well open on the top. As with all naked flames, a lit tea light should never be left unattended.
We use battery powered tea lights!
